Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings of $165,000 to $185,000, bonus eligibility. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Sr Director, Commercial Finance and Pricing provide leadership in delivering profitable growth through effective pricing and promotions that achieve internal financial goals, supplier objectives, and follow required state and federal regulations. The role will oversee the development of the annual sales plan (volume, revenue, and gross profit) by supplier and analysis of performance against objectives
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the analysis of the market and supplier performance to identify and provide strategic direction around opportunities for improved P&L delivery (Rev/GP/GM%), mix (brand/size/discount), effective pricing and promotional activities, and inventory management
- Oversee the development of local pricing strategy and calendars that ensures regulatory compliance, delivery of supplier brand strategy/suggested retail price and adherence to company pricing policies
- Oversee the negotiation, implementation, and maintenance of all price changes and accurate price supports to deliver profit requirements and minimize supplier bill-back issues
- Oversee the analysis and management of fund balances and NDA contributions to align with contractual obligations
- Provide strategic direction around spends to ensure efficient and effective deployment of all budgets
- Oversee the development of annual supplier budget for internal AOP (Vol/Rev/GP) and supplier LMF planning
- Provide strategic direction around operationalizing budgets and partnering with commercial leadership groups to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and deliver on fiscal goals and objectives
- Responsible for driving accountability around the implementation and utilization of standardized financial reporting, budgeting, and pricing tools and processes to ensure consistency and efficiencies in performance reporting and analytics
- Recruit, select, orient, and train employees; conduct terminations, as needed
- Coach and counsel employees; discipline individuals according to company policy; plan and monitor employee goals; and appraise performance
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study, Master's Degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience with an emphasis on commercial experience, P&L responsibility, and forecasting
- Experience with financial planning and pricing management in the CPG industry; supplier and wholesaler experience
- Experience directly leading a team / supervising others
- Knowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics
