Overview

The Customer Care Licensing Representative strictly adheres to state and company licensing requirements while facilitating the opening of new customer accounts/chains, changes in customer license status, establishment of delivery schedules, COD terms, and Sales Representative assignments. Researches additional business or market information while making credit application processing decisions based on state requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review available resources to help discern best business decision for account delinquency concerns
  • Respond to verbal, facsimile, written, and email requests/correspondence from customers
  • Ensure that the team is setting up new customer accounts with 24 hours of request, this includes all credit applications, personal guarantees, and other state/company required documents
  • Periodic secondary verification of all new account information against state website, correct sales assignments, shipping, and COD terms
  • Assist the team in processing license updates based on state website (i.e. inactive status, permanent/temp status, etc.)
  • Audit accounts to ensure state compliance is achieved
  • Maintain effective, consistent, and professional communication with Sales Force, management, external site constituents, and co-workers
  • Back-up departmental functions as previously assigned as Licensing Agent

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide back up to Licensing Supervisor in review of credit reports and communicating concerns/decisions to interested parties
  • Provide back up to Licensing Supervisor in review of failed credit queues, either clearing or holding orders based on collaboration with assigned sites
  • Respond to incoming calls and resolve customer issues
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency plus two years of experience
  • Ability to work flexibly to adjust shift schedule to accommodate business needs
  • Experience in Legal research
  • Proficiency using high mathematical concepts such as fractions, algebra, statistics, mathematical modeling, and calculus
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
