Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings of $78,000 - $90,000 / year. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview
The Accountant will prepare and analyze journal entries, perform month and year-end closings, complete general ledger, and bank reconciliations and support warehouse locations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform month/year-end financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast
- Prepare and analyze closing journal entries and support month-end review processes
- Complete complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
- Evaluate transactions and record to the general ledger as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete
- Research technical accounting issues and can work with management on solutions
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree plus three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
