Overview

The Talent Management Specialist drives the day to day operations for the team. This role manages communication of Talent Management programs as well as monitors accuracy and timeliness of information distributed. The TM Specialist runs reports, is responsible for data entry, program budgets and other record keeping functions utilizing TM systems/platforms. The role supports talent management processes/programs within the talent lifecycle including performance management, succession management, career management, development planning, competency management, etc. The TM Specialist owns the planning and execution of meetings, events and special projects. The role will be supporting the efforts of the entire Talent Management team and working within a cohesive team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage TM data to include analyzing talent statistics, tracking trends, building dashboards and owning ad hoc requests
  • Actively engage with Program Managers to maintain quality control, branding standards, and handle proofing of all materials
  • Lead various creative projects, and maintain program collateral including the content of resource guides, trainings, posters, demos, communication templates, and PowerPoint presentations that supports talent management initiatives
  • Provide support to Talent Management team including but not limited to program/operational support, and coordination of event logistics
  • Responsible for vendor management including; soliciting proposals negotiating contracts, processing invoices and manage TM Program budget
  • Partners with HRIS support on the maintenance, managing, testing, configuring, and tracking changes of TM modules in various applications, platforms and interfaces
  • Build relationships with internal customers to ensure talent-related needs are identified and look for opportunities to enhance existing Talent Management programs continually
  • Maintain security for internal and external access to our sites/platforms and contribute content to Talent Management sites and shared drives
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Ability to evaluate data to produce and interpret graphs, charts and spreadsheets
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
  • Demonstrated advanced working experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to distill, organize and convey complex information in a logical, visually pleasing, and user-friendly manner with the ability to direct communications at broad audiences
  • Used to handling confidential information and acts with the highest integrity
  • Ability to develop creative solutions and drive effective organizational and behavioral change
  • Ability to prepare presentations as needed to convey talent management information to HRBP and business leaders in a succinct yet sufficiently descriptive manner, using sophisticated data visualizations and other presentation resources
  • Ability to make effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Experience conveying messages and information using creative approaches that may involve creative graphic design, multi-media, social media, and video production and editing
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing with issues, problems, and events that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place in a highly matrixed fast-paced organization.
  • Ability to travel: up to 15%

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
