Overview
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is redefining how retailers discover and engage with our portfolio through personalized, curated digital experiences. As the Senior Product Manager for Personalized Discovery, you’ll lead initiatives that improve product relevance, inspire exploration, and make discovery effortless, starting with the homepage and extending across the digital journey.
You’ll work cross-functionally with design, engineering, data science, and be a key partner to digital merchandising and ad operations teams to ensure supplier content and placements are meaningfully integrated. This role is critical in shaping how we use insights, personalization models, and modular components to drive a tailored and high-performing top-of-funnel experience.

Your ability to anticipate market trends, analyze data-driven insights, and adapt to evolving customer and supplier needs will be critical in shaping a dynamic and efficient discovery ecosystem. By fostering a culture of collaboration and experimentation, you’ll contribute to building a scalable, impactful customer journey that aligns with broader business objectives while embracing cutting-edge personalization techniques.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and roadmap for personalized discovery experiences across homepage, search inputs, list pages, and other key entry points.
- Translate customer behaviors, segmentation, and business priorities into curated, relevant digital touchpoints that drive engagement and conversion.
- Serve as a strategic partner to digital merchandising and ad operations, ensuring alignment between personalization strategies and supplier content/placement priorities.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to shape and scale personalization models, recommendation systems, and content ranking logic.
- Define and prioritize discovery features using a test-and-learn mindset, leveraging metrics such as CTR, engagement, and incremental revenue
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and collaborate with sales and supplier stakeholders to ensure the experience supports growth objectives.
- Ensure discovery features reflect both commercial priorities and intuitive user experiences, balancing business impact with ease of use.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in digital product management, ideally in personalization, merchandising, or curated discovery within B2B or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of digital merchandising principles, personalized content strategies, and the customer discovery journey.
- Experience collaborating closely with data science, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver personalization at scale.
- Proven ability to manage complex roadmaps and deliver measurable business results in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset, capable of aligning multiple stakeholders around shared goals.
- Passion for the beverage, hospitality, or retail industry and the opportunity to create value through smarter, more personalized digital experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with recommendation engines, personalization algorithms, and/or merchandising tooling.
- Experience working in a federated digital environment or multi-region digital platform.
