Overview

The Senior Director of Supply Chain Technology Solutions leads the execution, optimization, and support of Tier 1 Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related automation technologies across high-volume, high-SKU distribution environments. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of supply chain technology platforms—from business relationship management and requirements development to solution design, implementation, support, and security. The leader partners closely with enterprise IT teams to ensure alignment with architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own the delivery, performance, and support of Tier 1 WMS platforms and warehouse automation systems used across the supply chain network.
• Lead solution design, implementation, and optimization efforts for high-throughput, complex warehouse environments.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place for all warehouse-related systems.
• Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and IT teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
• Oversee business relationship management and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Drive change management and communication strategies for successful technology adoption.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to deliver an integrated and scalable technology roadmap.
• Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
• Work with Infrastructure leadership to ensure high availability and superior service delivery.
• Lead a team of internal and third-party professionals responsible for solution delivery and support.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships critical to the success of the warehouse technology stack.
• Coordinate with IT Finance, Program Governance, and Demand/Supply teams to align on budgets, priorities, and execution.
• Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycle to develop and manage capital and operating budgets.
• Define and monitor KPIs for the Supply Chain Technology Solutions group, with a focus on warehouse system uptime, throughput, and automation efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on platform performance, project status, and strategic alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain technology or operations, with 3–5 years in leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in Tier 1 WMS platforms and warehouse automation technologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
