Overview

Our team delivers high-impact, data interpretation solutions to SGWS Commercial and Supplier Partner teams that elevate our collective business.  As the Commercial Capabilities & Effectiveness Specialist your role is to deliver these solutions and take ownership of managing the administrative components of our ongoing programs.  You’ll use your knowledge of the SGWS’ proprietary analytics tools to assist in the development and implementation of new content in line with individual performance, business outcomes, and organizational goals; as well as, solve for the skill needs of end-users through live group and 1-on-1 “office hours” sessions. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, facilitate, and track Commercial Capabilities (CC) programs
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of blended learning solutions (live, self-paced, on-the-job, etc) with CC Team members that effectively grow the commercial capabilities of SGWS Teams and supplier partners
  • Incorporate adaptive facilitation styles for classroom and virtual sessions
  • Ensure training plans and programs are consistent with Commercial Effectiveness strategies and reflect best practices consistent with organizational goals
  • While in markets, develop and foster a strong business partnership with SGWS management and organizational partners, seeking their input on training needs and adapting BI Training programs to meet the requests of different teams and regions, as needed
  • Participate and complete projects as assigned within the CC Team and across teams in commercial operations groups
  • Self-manage concurrent activity and deadlines for training deliveries, assigned projects, and administrative tasks
  • Peer-mentor and develop teammates through respectful and constructive feedback communication

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
•    3 years of demonstrated experience working on SGWS BI tools
•    1 year of 3-tier beverage industry experience
•    Ability to travel domestically 75% of the time each month, may exceed this during peak project periods
•    Knowledge of 3-tier industry sales tools, processes, or technologies (3 years of 3-tier beverage industry experience, analytics & training is a plus)
•    Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions 
•    Ability to use the BI Tools to solve business problems and create efficiencies in day to day work executions
•    Strong organizational, time management, planning, prioritization and follow up skills to manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously
•    Adept problem solver with analytical skills
•    Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, and formal presentation
•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; relationship / network cultivator

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
