Overview
The SVP, Commercial Operations will manage commercial sales deliverables for Diageo and Moet Hennessey suppliers, including planning, goals, metrics, performance, supplier management, marketing, and sales force optimization.
**This role can sit in any major market (Miramar, Dallas, Cerritos, Union City, or Syosset).
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for Regional Sales /Commercial Strategy to enhance overall Regional performance, Supplier performance, Analytics capabilities, and profitability
- Serve as the main point of contact for strategic supplier interaction and performance within the region
- Lead Commercial Operations Regional teams to create a strategy, collaborate on supplier effectiveness and drive execution of key initiatives.
- Work with regional EVPs and state general managers to oversee state sales delivery, ensure forecast accuracy, deliverable accountability, and optimal sales performance
- Create and drive Sales Effectiveness initiatives and strategy in the CPWS Division.
- Work with Regional Strategy team to design and embed strategic corporate initiatives- i.e., Com, 3, Digital enterprise, revenue management
- Provide oversight and consistent strategy for Regional Supplier Marketing activities
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Enhance integration between Regional Supplier Marketing and Commercial Finance functions to ensure fund management and pricing guidance are in place
- Oversee Regional S&OP process and inventory management
- Drive Regional Commercial Analytics including day-to-day BI analysis for supplier reporting and scorecards
- Link with SVP, Commercial Strategy on Regional supplier RFP
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience with supplier relationship management
