Overview

The CPWS Revenue Management Manager provides analytical support for the CPWS commercial finance, trade development, and sales teams by helping to deliver on the division’s objectives through ad-hoc analysis, recommendations modeling, reporting, and insight generation. Reports to Director, Revenue Management/Pricing, and partners with cross-functional leads to investigate market-specific trends and needs, as well as special projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain local pricing strategy that ensures regulatory compliance, delivery of supplier brand strategy/suggested retail price and adherence to company pricing policies
  • Review and analyze supplier performance to identify and recommend opportunities for improved P&L delivery (Rev/GP/GM%), mix (brand/size/discount), effective pricing and promotional activities, and inventory management
  • Conduct specific pricing and promotional analyses by market/channel/brand; pack price curves, brand ladders, and promotional lift/ROI to identify areas of opportunity to drive accretive top and bottom-line growth
  • Perform broad portfolio-level analyses across markets to provide targeted Revenue Management recommendations to market stakeholders, work with the region and state teams in the consolidation and analysis of large datasets
  • Provide pre/post-ROI analysis for any internal programs; assist in making necessary adjustments to any program.
  • Analyze external price, promo, and trade trends (customer, consumer, and competitor), and internal financials (e.g., pricing, trade spend) to make recommendations that will profitably drive growth across price, promotion, and an assortment
  • Assist in building cross-market Revenue Management capabilities and work cross-functionally to help educate the organization on the key pillars of Revenue Management
  • Lead, coach, and inspire revenue management analysts to assist in the development and interpretation of financial reporting; utilizing efficient pricing tools and processes which ensure consistency and top-performance analytics

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Strong technical and analytic skills with demonstrated ability to aggregate, model, assess, and provide insights from multiple commercial and financial data sets, e.g., syndicated data (Nielsen), sales history, and financial data
  • Beverage Alcohol or CPG experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the capabilities of the transaction and reporting systems including, but not limited to SAP, SQL, Business Objects, TM1, or other local systems 
  • Deep understanding of Tableau and Alteryx

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience with emphasis on pricing, financial analysis, and data modeling
  • Must be a self-starter and work within competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to Travel: 10%-20% with notice
