Overview

The SCM Master Data Analyst is responsible for the execution of MDM operational processes and the support of data policies and procedures. The position contributes to SGWS's success by applying knowledge of Master Data Management processes and standards to maintain and improve master data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. The primary responsibility is to assist in the continuous improvement of obtaining, retaining, and maintaining master data in the most efficient, accurate, and effective manner for operations and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day MDM service tasks, including answering questions, resolving data issues, and providing analysis.
• Manage and maintain master data across business lines; perform additions, changes, and deletions per standard procedures and business rules.
• Ensure requests are properly authorized by coordinating with data stewards and owners; translate customer requests into actionable tasks.
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues across teams and downstream applications; escalate issues before they impact programs.
• Maintain master data intake repository and required audit documentation; respond to information requests.
• Correct data flagged in integrity reports/dashboards and drive adoption of the MDM platform.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards on Enterprise Glossary and Data Dictionary; educate clients on processes and business rules.
• Generate improvement ideas for integrity checks, maintenance processes, and metadata; deliver services per SLAs or negotiate when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
• Minimum one year plus combined business process, Data management, BI

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
