Overview
The AI Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with clients, internal stakeholders, and the technical community to capture business processes and ensure the development of effective AI and automation solutions. AI Business Analysts gather requirements through workshops, meetings, and surveys, serving as the main contact for questions about how services, products, or applications support business activities. Using systems analysis models, AI Business Analysts define business rules, develop specifications and diagrams for development teams, and recommend changes to existing solutions. By understanding the business journey and communicating trends to agile teams, AI Business Analysts support implementation, testing, and quality efforts, contributing to the organization's success
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with service/product and technical teams to understand and define system goals and business requirements.
- Document and translate department/business requirements into requirements specification document.
- Create requirements specification document and processes using structured analysis and data modeling techniques (e.g., activity diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams).
- Collaborates in building system functionality and quality attributes.
- Assist technical groups in revising logic for performance efficiency.
- Develop new ideas to automate and decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time.
- Participate in system and user acceptance testing efforts.
- Create initial build of standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for analysts, service/product owners and developers.
- Assist BRM/Service/Product Owners/Managers in evaluating cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
- Understand system interdependencies and collaborates with service/product teams accordingly.
- Manage the work of development teams including the DevOps board, and at times facilitate Agile and Scrum activities and configure applications.
- Capture and analyze business processes to develop and support effective solutions, aligning client needs with technical capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 2+ years’ relevant work experience in an analytical capacity, or equivalent experience.
- Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments (preferred).

- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
