Overview
The Talent Development Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Talent Development (TD) team by driving project management, internal marketing efforts utilizing Canva, analytics, and digital platform maintenance. Additionally, this role supports the development of e-learning courses, training materials and the administration of the Learning Management System. Responsibilities include managing third-party vendor relationships, maintaining departmental platforms (e.g., SharePoint, LMS), analyzing program engagement, overseeing the training calendar, and supporting budget and communication functions. As a member of the HR Team this individual will positively impact the organization by formulating and presenting actionable recommendations for consideration to significantly improve overall HR Processes and Drive Effective HR Solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Provide organizational development support for business teams and functions to achieve current and future business goals; proactively engage with the TD leaders on people strategy and effectively deliver strategy through workforce planning and organization design and structure
2. Partner with TD leaders to develop and design marketing assets (e.g., brochures, digital flyers, SGNN articles); promote TD programs through internal platforms (email, SharePoint, newsletters, etc.) in collaboration with the Communications team.
3. Assist in promoting assigned vendor relationships (e.g., Guild, LinkedIn Learning, SHRM, etc.); lead monthly meetings; ensure alignment with learning strategy, employee engagement goals, and contract compliance.
4. Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Tableau; track engagement, participation, and satisfaction across programs; provide data-backed recommendations to inform content, delivery, and future programming.
5. Provide front-end and back-end support for the Learning Management System (LMS); manage learning groups, upload content, monitor enrollment, and oversee the LMS help inbox.
6. Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of TD programs; design and distribute learner satisfaction surveys; collect and analyze feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest areas for improvement in collaboration with TD leadership.
7. Design and maintain department SharePoint site; build out custom subpages, visuals, and resource repositories to improve navigation and increase visibility of TD offerings.
8. Oversee project timelines via Monday.com; maintain and publish the enterprise-wide training calendar; coordinate enrollment processes and serve as a point-of-contact for general training inquiries.
9. Manage and monitor the departmental budget; prepare the budget for monthly distribution and ensure the timely completion of enterprise reporting.
10. Generate research, analysis, and benchmarking on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to technology delivery.
11. Design and deliver engaging, clear, concise presentations; present to different stakeholders, such as customers, partners, executives, or peers.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience working in an HR & Talent Development related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
· Proven track record of success in supporting organization-wide talent development programs, including training, coaching, data analytics and relationship management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 360 with emphasis on Excel (required).
· 1 year of previous proficiency in Success Factors and SAP system with emphasis on reporting (required).
· Expertise in Canva design, configuration, customization, development, and maintenance (required).
· Demonstrated competence in design, configuration, customization, development, and maintenance of SharePoint applications and sites (required).
· Experience designing, developing, and deploying e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, or Storyline.
· Proficiency in survey tools e.g., Alchemer, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics.
· Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
· Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and emerging tech applications (AI, XR, etc.).
· Experience with email campaign tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Outlook Campaigns) for promoting internal learning and development initiatives.
· Experience using AI tools to assist in content creation, automation, or data analysis (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Physical demands include considerable time spent sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
· Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
· May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
