Overview
The Manager, Supplier Insights role will be heavily involved across three critical and highly visible workstreams:
- Lead national analytical support and actionable insights for SGWS Supplier Development & Management (SDM) executives overseeing a select portfolio of suppliers
- Supplier Onboardings and Transitions –Partner with Office of Strategic Management (OSM) to manage new supplier onboardings and transitions and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Supplier Data Workstream
- Oversee and manage departmental Insights projects and serve as the department lead for enterprise-wide strategic projects that impact the Supplier Insights and SDM teams
Primary Responsibilities
Inisghts & Analytics (50%):
- Compile and analyze data from a variety of internal and external sources across a portfolio of nationally managed suppliers
- Track Regional and State execution of National Supplier AOP plan using Business Objects and Compass
- Support a portfolio of suppliers with internal teams including MDM and ETP teams to set up and maintain the Supplier (Supergroup, Group, Subgroup) and product hierarchies
- Analyze business performance scorecards with specific commentary focused on business drivers, performance trends, risks and opportunities including innovation items
- Partner internally with SDM leaders and externally with Insights teams at the supplier to validate and resolve any discrepancies with both internal and external scorecards and program tracking
- Supplier Transitions and Onboarding (25%): Leverage expertise around supplier transitions and the data workstream to serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all supplier transitions
- Validate Supplier PY histories annually and CY histories monthly; work with the supplier in a timely manner to reconcile differences
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Supplier Transitions and Onboarding (25%): Collaborate with supplier and validate transition data requests for Pricing, Supply Chain, Ad Hoc Depletion loads, Master Data Management and Process and Data Integrity
- Create and maintain Supplier Transition ways of working as they related to the Supplier Insights function
- Project Management (25%): Design, develop and launch new department and enterprise wide tools in support of Commercial Sales and Operations initiatives to be included in the SDM Reporting Suite
- Serve as the department project manager for Insights projects and department lead on enterprise-wide projects
- Manage and enhance the SMBD Reporting Suite on OneSource and the SDM Sharepoint site including scaling best-in-class reports that are bubbled up from market/regional teams
- Work in close coordination with the SVP Sales & Marketing and SVP Supplier Strategy on the design, tracking and management of the SDM MPP Scorecard
- Develop, manage and enhance SDM Ways of Working and Onboarding Playbooks and processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- 5+ years’ experience preferred in a corporate business/financial analyst role
- Ability to clearly synthesize and analyze data from a variety of internal and external data sources
- Advanced knowledge of Business Objects and/or experience in Tableau is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
