Overview
The Inventory Services Analyst is responsible for providing all external divisions and internal Shared Service departments main contact for all inventory costing issues. Additionally, this job exists for verifying all interface files for all supported divisions, as well as, act as a liaison between the Inventory Services department, Order to Cash (OTC)/SAP Technical Teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs monthly reconciliation of Inventory (GR/IR) and related general ledger accounts
- Handles all workflow tasks assigned to Financial Analyst
- Ensures that inventory costs in SAP and OTC are correct
- Resolves internal and external customer issues by returning/acknowledging phone calls and emails in a timely manner and providing responses and resolutions in a reasonable amount of time
- Trains both divisional and departmental users on accounting concepts and proprietary business practices as they relate to the movement of inventory
- Initiates and participates in business process improvement activities as it relates to the area of inventory costing including implementing efficiency-enhancing recommendations
- Supports internal and external audit activities, as required, to ensure that auditors are provided with the necessary information to complete their audits timely
- Processes all daily interface files and generate, analyze, and communicate daily reconciliations between SAP and the respective operational team
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and related experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- 2 years of Inventory Services Processing Department Experience
- Able to process all Trade (3-way) match invoices (Freight & Customs) as well as Bulk Whiskey and Inter Company transactions
- Familiar with the workflow processes
- Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
- Must be willing to provide coverage when needed (i.e. Late Nights/Weekends/Holiday)

- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
