Overview
Responsible for developing strategies and tactics to achieve customer objectives, KPIs, and targets by implementing strategies and tactics and managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth. The Dir, Key Account will also oversee and manage a team of Key Account Managers to ensure execution and delivery of objectives for strategic partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales, promotion, and marketing of brands by providing maximum company sales through planning, executing, follow-up, evaluation, and review
- Supervise the activities of assigned accounts to ensure maximum sales and profits
- Coach, direct, and counsel team members on overall performance; define expectations and monitors progress
- Strategize with senior sales management to enhance contribution to sales goals and companywide sales strategies
- Provide sales training, brand awareness, and development direction to internal sales professionals and chain buyers
- Establish a course of action to accomplish sales and specific goals/programming
- Provide reports and maintain communication of current and projected goals/objectives
- Present, educate, and ensure execution of monthly programs
- Conduct market surveys to determine and track competing brands and wholesalers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, results, and recommendations for market improvement
- Create and maintain recap of all sales promotion activity
- Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree and an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community
- Valid state motor vehicle operator s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
- Ability to work flexible hours which include early morning (i.e., 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. start times), evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work overnight travel as required

- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
