Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first-year total earnings between $18- $25.50/hour and auto reimbursement. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Draught Technicians are the frontline experts who ensure every pint poured in bars, restaurants, and on-premise accounts delivers the perfect beer-drinking experience. You’ll visit accounts regularly, educate staff on proper draught system maintenance, guide them through best-in-class cleaning and service standards, and help troubleshoot issues to keep beer quality at its peak. Along the way, you’ll strengthen relationships, support brand execution, and deliver point-of-sale materials that elevate the customer experience. Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain a cleaning schedule wherein every draught beer line in the territory is cleaned on a schedule consistent with Wholesaler Equity Agreement and local laws
  • Assist with draught equipment and/ or system installation
  • Troubleshoot basic draught system problems and respond to trouble calls in a timely manner
  • Merchandise/install paper and permanent Point of Sale materials
  • Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation and equipment cleanliness and appearance
  • Ensure assigned Company vehicle is maintained to company standards to include truck detailing/waxing, clean interior, etc. Proactively prevent unnecessary safety risk, i.e., leaving keys unattended in vehicle, parking or driving in an unsafe manner, etc.
  • Responsible for maintenance of tools to perform specific tasks (spanner wrench, thermometers, tower wrench, etc.)
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license with Safe Driving Record required
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Highly self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Comfort level with change and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to grow and lead customer relationships
  • Ability to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, and installation instructions as well as ability to calculate simple math functions

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
  • May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48lbs
