Overview

The Senior Director of Commercial Finance - CPWS Central Region will lead the financial strategy for the applicable sub-region/state(s) or Center of Excellence (COE) team.  This role will focus on driving sustainable, profitable growth through rigorous strategic planning, financial forecasting, and pricing strategies. This role requires collaboration with commercial teams to assess topline performance, manage pricing strategies, and optimize investment opportunities. The Senior Director will oversee financial modeling, risk assessment, and opportunity identification, ensuring alignment with supplier targets and internal goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Leaders as a value-added strategic business partner and thought leader
  • Build strong partnerships across functions and with supplier partners where applicable to align on top priorities, optimize investment strategies, and set KPIs.
  • Drive short- and long-term pricing strategy development, including competitive analysis and margin negotiations.
  • Demonstrate and drive a compliance mindset focused on adherence to pricing and trade spend regulations
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting initiatives, leveraging data to assess volume changes and pricing impacts.
  • Evaluate business performance, providing insights on volume, price and mix performance and margin analysis.
  • Coach and develop finance talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
  • Embed use of enterprise standard tools and reporting to drive team efficiency and focus on value-add activities

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study, Master's Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience with an emphasis on commercial experience, P&L responsibility, and forecasting
  • Experience with financial planning and pricing management in the CPG industry; supplier and wholesaler experience
  • Experience directly leading a team / supervising others
  • Knowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
