Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the recruitment function for Dedicated Divisions and the South Central Region.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Talent Acquisition Director in developing and executing best in class talent acquisition processes and procedures which include but are not limited to talent acquisition planning, employment branding, diversity & inclusion, candidate relationship management, metrics and analytics and strategic sourcing
  • Partner with senior functional leaders to understand the business strategy, challenges and develop recruiting efforts to align and/or help develop a robust diverse workforce plan
  • Provide management and leadership to field recruiting teams to successfully meet the necessary recruitment goals and objectives
  • Establish credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients and support divisional talent acquisition resources to ensure they have the access, support and ability to help select the most qualified diverse talent for roles
  • Provide relevant, accurate and timely information related to recruiting metrics and insights to Functional leaders and field recruiting resources
  • Partner with the Talent Management department to ensure that internal top talent is being identified and considered for open roles
  • Partner with Learning & Development department to ensure that hiring managers and divisional talent acquisition resources are provided with the appropriate training to hire the most qualified diverse talent
  • Collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion team to ensure the best use of sourcing strategies to develop diverse candidate slates for open roles
  • In conjunction with the Regional HR VP, set the strategy for Talent Acquisition divisional resources to provide positive candidate experiences and sustain a pipeline for diverse talent for future key positions 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Partners with vendors on soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing to TD Program budget
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced working experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing effective Talent Development solutions that are practical, realistic, innovative, and scalable
  • Project Management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate agility in a demanding work environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities while meeting timelines
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, collaborative demeanor, and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time upon request

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
